Its Chinese New Year.
I used to be very active during this festive season every year.

This year its totally different.story.
I had spent most of my time sleeping and watching TV at home.
Ive lost the motivation to go out visiting people.
However, i still feel that this is a very enjoyable Chinese New Year.
Maybe its just another way for me to celebrate this festive season. People do change, including me.

Finally, i am officially employed.
I am working for New Straits Times press HQ which is located in Bangsar.
I was assigned to one of the busiest group in the advertising department which is Classified Display group.
My colleagues are always busy looking for new clients and servicing the existing ones. Therefore, i had already begun to smell the tension working here.
Overall, the working environment here is quite good, most of the people here are friendly and helpful.
The most challenging part for me is to remember their names as they are too many people in the department and most of them are from different races. I am really slow in remembering malay and indian names :(.

I will be assigned on field next month and be given a sales target to achieve. Hopefully i can cope well with it and face the challenge.

Juz recovered from a flu.....
i had just discovered that.if you had colorless nasal fluid, it means that your flu was caused viral infection;
If you had green yellowish fluid, it means that it was a bacterial infection.
So what happens when u had colorless in the beginning and then turn to green yellowish few days later???
It means that in the beginning, you were infected by virus,
If u did not heal on time, the virus will weaken your immune system allowing the bacteria to attack our body.
Therefore, green yellowish nasal fluid normally appears when your flu is getting worse.

Few days ago i had a short chatting session with a friend before i went to sleep. As usual, it was very late in the night.
I enjoy chatting with my friends late at night. It is the best time to speak of something buried deep in our heart. It is always the best time to share secrets.
Maybe it's because those are the time where we begin to feel tired. As a result, we have to take off our mask that we had been wearing for all day long.
I appreciate these moments as they are getting less by day due the fact that more friends are getting busier with their new working life.
Maybe one day i might also have no more time for them.

I have a tasteless life without coffee.

So i hate mixing them together.
However, my heart tells me that milk and coffee are always best friends.

Recently, i've seen so many people posting on facebook using foursquare or watever application,
trying to tell the whole world where they are, what they eating, who is with them.
What is more annoying is that some even tell you that they are at home, work place or waiting for bus or whatever daily routine stuffs.
Come on, grow up plz!!!!
I know you need attention but letting people know your location sometimes might just bring trouble to you.
You are directly exposing yourself (and your frens) to any criminal activity by telling people that you and your friends are not at home now.... My house is empty, plz come and fucking rob my house!!!!

Just finished yumcha with 2 of my secondary school friend, one future doctor and optometrist.

They were talking about their experience when handling with patients

which reminds me that how fragile a human's mind can be.

We might start off our course full of passion but ended up losing them easily

until you do not know what are you doing at the moment.

What happens when u lose we lose our passion?

We get exhausted easily!!!

Psychological exhaustion can lead us to take everything for granted.

As a result, we might inflict damages to ourselves and also people around us.

Sometimes other people may not help us to solve our problem directly. They might not provide us solutions or useful opinions. Especially when it is out of their position to do so.

It has been 2 weeks after i said goodbye to to my buddies in Melaka for the final time.(I had wished them goodbye but went back to them at least twice before that.)
Days were so dry since i last saw them.
I still remember the days we hangout together. Well i din spend too much time with them inside class although most of us are from the same course, taking mostly the same subject.
Most of the memories are times when we went dinner together, movies and in certain period, it was on the gambling table. :x
Discussing where to have lunch/dinner is always a lengthy and complicated process with so many people involved. Many are contributing ideas but at the same time more on solely banning ideas. Most of the time, it ends up having our big boss making the last decision for us. Thank you, Alan. :)

Finally i had finished all my papers and left melaka.
I have said goodbye to my frens alot of times and attended few farewell party. I went back Melaka twice after saying goodbye to them for the first time. Everyone was laughing at me.
However, i think, this would be the final time i say good bye to them.

To be honest, after 4 years staying in Melaka,
I am pretty sure that i dont like Melaka food at all.LOL
However there is 1 exception, PAK PUTRA.
It is one of my favorite place to have my dinner although its kinda far from the place i stay.
Tandoori chicken, cheese naan, garlic naan..... are all my favourite dishes.
I just went there for my dinner today and its probably my last time eating there :(

This might be controversial but they are all based on my personal opinions.

8.Steve Jobs
The list starts with the co-founder and chief executive of Apple Inc.
Diagnosed with Pancreatic cancer during mid-2004, he did not give up is journey as a great entrepreneur. Instead, he had brought Apple into its golden age.
Thanks to his aggressive and demanding personality, Apple has always been placing its products in the forefront of the IT industry by setting up new trends and platforms.
He created the i-fever in a massive scale like never before.
People are so crazy about i-phone, i-pad, i-pod and their related products.

7.Michael Jackson
The King of Pop, best-known for his dance move. He is the most popular global figure in the music industry.He popularized many dance techniques such as the robot and moonwalk, which in turns inspired many performers after that.
No artist has ever won more awards than our late King of Pop.
He paved the way of modern pop music and left his influence in many performing artists.

6.Qin Shi Huang (秦始皇）
The first emperor of China. During the Warring States period, China consists of 7 divided countries. Qin Shi Huang united China for the first time by defeating 6 other countries. He initiated China's nearly 2 millennial of imperial rule.
During his reign, he unified the writing system in the country, he built the Great Wall of China to defend the country against external enemies from the north. He also connected the country by building the massive national road system.

5. Muhammad Ali

Known for his unorthodox fighting style, Muhammad Ali is one of the greatest(if not the greatest) sportsman of 20th century.
A man who did not want to give up his principles and Islamic beliefs at all cost, Ali refused to be conscripted into the US military. As a result, he was arrested and stripped his boxing title. He was suspended from boxing and everyone thought it was the end of Muhammad Ali's Era.
However, Ali was able to shock the world 4 years later after his comeback. He won back heavy weight titles and continued his quest to defeat every top heavyweight fighters in his era.

4.Nelson Mandela

Who would ever think that a person that was sentenced to life in prison could one day become the president of a country?

The former anti-apartheid activist spent 27 years without his freedom as the consequence of fighting for the rights of his race.

Eventually,when he regained it during 1991, he did not stop his fight. Instead, he continued to led his party in the negotiations that led to multi-racial democracy in 1994. He was then elected to be the president of South Africa from 1994-1999. He was 75 during that time.

He has shown the world how strong a person's mental strength could be.
He is the greatest example that shows us the importance of strong determination.

3.Martin Luther King Jr.

A person with a dream. He had shown us that everyone should have a dream and put our effort to make our wish come true.
A dream that seems impossible to come true could be achieved if we hold on to our faith.
His dream to end racial segregation and racial discrimination through civil disobedience and other nonviolent means seems out of reach during his time.
Against all odds, he had changed the fate of all African American people.

2.Julius Caesar

The great general led his man to to overthrown the Roman Republic. An act that liberated the lower class majorities in the republic from the highly corrupted higher class Senates. He dissolved the republic and centralised the bureaucracy of it.
However, he was assassinated by a group of senators, led by Marcus Junius Brutus during the Ides of March incident which leads to a series of civil wars and the forming of the Great Roman Empire that stood for 500 years.
Caesar's success basically depends on his unrivaled leadership skills. He was able to motivate his soldiers in a systematic approach. He leads by example which at times he fought side by side with his men and occasionally injuring himself.

1. Adolf Hitler

I know it sounds crazy to put the man who started World War 2 and took away millions of precious lives on the top of my list.
He is however, a genius in his own way.
Growing up in a pity childhood as he was frequently beaten up by his father, little Adolf Hitler dreamed to be an artist in the future. However, he was rejected twice by the academy of arts.
He then served in the military during World War 1 and began his political career after the war.
Hitler was best known for his powerful speech that would stir the emotions of his audience, influencing the public to follow his ideology.
His influence was so strong that he was able to control the mind of his people to fight and die for his regime unconditionally.
He has shown that the most important attribute a great leader possess is the power to influence the others.

This trimester was a brilliant one, especially after the mid term break.

I have come across with many incidents in my university life where people around me(university students) like to ask a lot of weird questions when they are given any task or assignments.
Its good to ask questions but certain questions regarding some minor details actually reflects the mentality of young people nowadays.
Most of us in our generation grew up during peace time. Where war was far away from us. We get more than enough things to satisfy our needs. I can say that we have no worries about surviving at all. At the same time we lack the ability to make decision.
We only know what to do when we are told to do. We do not know what we should do if we are not told. We cant decide the life we want, instead we leave this to our parents, teachers, lecturers.....

Can u imagine a university student could not even decide what he should write in his resume?or an university student still have to go and ask the lecturers, how long, how many pages, how many words is needed in an assignment when they were told that they a free to write how many words they want as long as the content is there?
We were given to authority to decide our own fate, however we prefer to leave it to the others.
We want to have a good life, but we want others to decide how we should live our life.
This is the mentality of the younger generations in Malaysia.

We are afraid of freedom.
We want to be slaves that are bounded by rules and regulations.
We feel lost if we are given the freedom to make decisions.
Is this the consequences of the failure in our education system?

It's gamma 3rd sem. I think this is the busiest sem in my Uni life. I know it will be tough, but i do not know how tough it can be.
I am taking 3 killer subjects this sem. Hopefully everything will go smooth and maybe i'll need some miracle in the process. After all, i would like to make one myself. :=)
on the bright side, it will give me less free time to think of useless stuffs.

I love this phrase alot.
Knowledge, unlike other resources such as money will grow more in our mind when we share it with others.
We learn even more if we teach our knowledge to other people.
Unfortunately, teaching someone is regarded as an act of foolishness in certain culture. Especially among the Chinese.(Sorry if i offended anyone of you, but as a chinese myself, i have to admit that this is the dark side of our culture. :p )
Some people think that if they teach another person certain knowledge or skills, that person may act as a threat after they have acquired those knowledge. （教会徒弟不识师傅）
Therefore, many of them were not willing to share out their knowledge to the others.
In the end of the day, those knowledge were lost because they were never pass on to the other generations.

In the eyes of the Japanese army during world war 2, retreating from war is never an option. It is an act of self humiliation and they rather fight to death than to live on their lives with shame.
As a result, much more casualties is suffered during world war 2 after the 2 atomic bomb was dropped into Hiroshima and Nagasaki.
In our life, sometimes we make wrong decision that leads us to fight a battle that is unnecessary. By the time we realise it, we are already in the middle of the battle. We have worked hard before that to get into the current position. however , we see no bright future in the battle. Yet, we still continue our fight foolishly juz because we do not want to waste out our efforts in the past. In the end we lost the battle and suffered even more losses.
The feeling of victory is always great. However sometimes we must learn how to lose when defeat means certain.If we lose, we should accept it and lose in style~! And most importantly, with minimal losses suffered.

Yesterday i was having lunch with my friends and we had a discussion about people around us who are wasting food. this is a very common but unacceptable behavior.
Some people view it as a way of representing how luxury their life can be by showing off how much food and money they can waste. In their prespective, the more food they can waste, the more glory they will get.
For some people, it is just pure greedy. Taking more than they are able to consume and waste it at the end.

Have you ever thought of the populations that have been in starvation in the most of the time in their lives?
And how many died because of starvation?
Many of them have fought so hard in their entire lives just to get a little small piece of grain to fill in their stomach.

It is not something that you can be proud of by wasting your food.
Instead, it only shows that how ignorant you are.
you're an insult to the human race~!!!!

They said that you will only know who is your true friends when you are in a dangerous situation. It is the moment where your friendship and the values of your friends will be tested.
A few days ago, I have this opportunity to put my friends into test.
We were in in the 2nd day of our Taman Negara trip and we were enjoying our moment in this big river. We were so crazy playing with water and we forgotten that how strong the forces of mother nature could be.
Just when we are at our happiest moment,one of my friend got dragged away by the strong current of the river, without hesitating, we went back to save him and we all get into the same trouble because our strength is too small compared to the forces of mother nature.
Fortunately, we are able to grab on a rock and saved our lives.
The incident may end up in tragedy if any one of us let go of our friends.
Obviously we all have made the right decision to not abandon our friends by whatever means. Unity is our strength.
I have lost nothing but gained 3 good friends in this incident.
Good and true friends.
And also a great lifetime adventure.

Just finished my last paper. As usual, i left exam hall earlier than others because i do not like staying there for too long.
Dont ask me how is my paper because i do not have an answer.

I do not expect anything from it. :)
Waiting for my friend to finish his paper now then we will depart to cyberjaya to meet up with our friends.
Will be staying there for 2 nites before we go to Taman Negara.

As a matter of fact, this is my first time going there, or you can say it's even the 1st time entering a jungle.

I do not know what lies ahead.
I just follow my weirdo gang.
But i know it will be fun adding a new experience to my not-so excited life.

Sorry to dad because i cannot come home early to spend the weekend with ya(my mum is in penang). take care!!!!

I'm sure most of you have this experience when you were young.
When u were a small kid, when people ask you what you wanna be when u grow up in the future.
98% of us came out with answers that were quite predictable.
Doctors, lawyers, scientist............
As time goes on...........let's say 10 years later.
When the same question was thrown to us, most of us gave entirely different answers.
erm....dunno le finish my degree only say lo, Anything for me to earn my living..........
Apparently, we have lost our passion and dream. We dare not to expect much from ourself because we have experienced failure in our life.
Failure is attached to life, they cannot be separated.
If we wanna live, we have no choice but to face it.
However, failure is a very unfavorable condition to us. We tend to feel dissapointed and depressed when it happens to us.
During this time, the protective mechanism of human mind takes place.
Disappointment comes from underachieved expectation/goals.
Our mind tells us to lower our expectation in the future so that the probability to achieve our goals is higher.
The process continues as our life goes on.
In the end, we found out that the greatest achievement in our life is that we achieved almost nothing.
We are so weak that we even do not have the courage to dream.

Eventually, i found a peaceful corner of my mind today. I've been through alot for the past few weeks. I've fallen, raise and fallen again. Happy sad and happy again. In this period of time, I have figured out alot of things. I've seen the goods and evils of human beings.
I believe that this is something normal in our life.I think most of you have met this situation before. When your friends meet problems, I'm sure most of us are willing to help them if you have the time and resources available.As time goes by you help them more and more. And one day when you refused to offer any help to them cause of your own reasons.......
The nightmare begins. They feel that you have betrayed them. Like a slave who who disobey the masters command, they try to whip you,punish you, stab you and beat you to the ground, until you cry for forgiveness.
Appreciation is always minute and short lived; Accusation never fades.
And what is the worst is they start to blame everything on you. You are just a punching bag to them. They look for a scapegoat for their own wrong doings.
Unfortunately the person that is the most vulnarable is always the person who helped them the most.
One good example is we always blame our parents for not doing certain things in our favor and in the same time ignore everything they did for us in the past.
This is the characteristics of most of the human beings in the world. It is designed in our genes and unfortunatly the world is dominated by us.....

In my previous post, i have complained that I am very free and i wish to have something to do.
And my wish is granted.Yahoo..
I have been through a quite interesting week
with 2 mid terms, 1 report due date and one presentation.
Unfortunately, the outcome is not satisfying, especially the presentation.
However, i am not gonna complain on it.Its better than have nothing to do.
It's mid term break now, and have tonnes of assignments to complete.
Especially for those assignments that I am the leader of the group.I need to use this holiday to plan our next move as the clock is ticking away.
After the break, the planing stage should end and executing plans is our major concern.
HOpefully i can come out with a good plan.
there are so much responsibility that i have to bear this semester. I know its hard, but then this is my chance of improving myself.
I need to upgrade my leadership skills as i always hate to leave my fate for others to decide, especially to someone that i do not trust.
Yes, i admit that it is very difficult for me to trust someone.
Everyone around me knows this well.
We'll all have our own responsibilities, so lets work hard together on it

I have time to write this blog now, I have time to go to mydin for less than one hour, walk one circle and spent RM0.10 there then go back home. Celebrating my frens bday which was 2 days ago.And the worse thing is I have time to gossip around~!!!
I really hate to be so free,

I put my hands on something i that i should bother, i disturb peoples life.
I walk into places i shouldn't be there.

Whenever we face difficulties in our life, many of us will panic.
We do not know what to do. Then we will start to comfort ourselves by blaming that it is our luck.We can do nothing with it, it is our fault.
I do believe in luck, but then i always believe that it is a good one.
During harsh time, heroes will raise.
A hero will not be a hero if there is no chaos situation for them to perform their heroic move.
Same goes to us, if we do not meet any difficulties in our lifes, we will have no chance to test our strength.
We will only wait for the day to end everyday without doing anything meaningful.

Many of us will always complain that we have too much things to complete with too little time.We will never complete our work.
Yes, it is true~!!!We do have finite time and we do have infinity task to do.
Our task and reponsibilities will only come to an end when we reach the end of our lifes.
Can u imagine one day when u wake up and you found out you have nothing to do anymore?

Well, one of the famous creation of the ancient Chinese civilization is a book named Art of WaR.
The book was written by Sun Zi, a famous military general 2000 years ago.
Eventually the knowledge of the book has been spread widely throughout the world, from leaders of different countries, to successful business man
I have read the book few years ago and i think i should share what i have learned.
In the 1st chapter of the book, Sun Zi has stated that how a general(leader) should be assessed.
He listed 5 of the characteristics that a General should posses.

Wisdom
A general should be able to make wise decisions correctly most of the time.If he had made a wrong one, he should learn from his mistakes.
Trustworthiness
A general should keep his promises so that his team will have trust on him.
Benevolence
Love and care about his team members. Understand their needs and guide them to solve their problems.Show respect to them. Win the heart of them, sincerely.
Courage
Brave enough to take action once a decision is made. Fear no obstacles ahead of you. Sometimes courage is needed to make harsh decisions.
Discipline
A general himself must hace good self-discipline, to set a good example for his team so that they will follow him. With good decipline, plans can be executed more effectively without too much distortion caused by lack of dicipline.

The end of DAYS

This aint Armageddon,
wat i meant is end of my holidays~~!!!
Actually i should have posted during holidays.
but I did not do that because i was lazy.
i just found out that 99% of the people like to accumulate their work.
well i aint belong to that 1%
This is a damn short sem break, i curse MMU for deducting our holidays.All the pity MMU students have only 2 weeks of holidays.
This holiday is quite boring in the beginning......
the 1st week was boring, i stay at home much of the time. juz did some regular YUMCHA with my frens and thats all.
but the end of the 1st week was the time the fun came in. I went to penang n Ipoh. The trip was a nice one. We had alot of fun~~!!
then wednesday went to Cheras pasar malam.Everything was fine over there except for the haze.
When i went back to Seremban and read the newspaper only i found out that the haze condition in Cheras area is the worst in Malaysia.
I did not take any photos bcuz i am lazy and i dont have a nice camera in the moment.
I will find a way to solve this problem becausze i know that my blog is boring without photos.
Writing skills aint my weapon so i badly need photos for this blog.

It's exam time!!!!!!!
Every time when the end of our sem is near, we will have our final exams.
This is the time where everyone sleeps very late and study like mad.
It's also the time where the true colour of your friends is revealed.
HOW???????
Well. some of our lecturers will give us tips at the end of their last class .
Apparently this is also the time while less than half of the class will attend it. Therefore, not many people will get the tips.

Some of those who attended will quickly spread out the information to all their friends and encourage them to spread it out.
Unfortunately, there are also lots of people choose to withhold it which i do not know what is the reason of doing it.
You have nothing to lose when you share the information out to your friends, right?
Honestly, I am so disappointed with their behavior and mentality.

Money Making University

1st of all, some of you may feel offended by this post.
if thats the case, juz FLOAT AWAY.
but i think majority of you will agree with me.
The story is about a University in Malaysia under a well known money sucking telecommunication company.
1. Charge the students RM12 per year for parking stickers.
Of course many of you think that this is a very cheap price by just looking at its price. But then, here is the important point, they sold more parking tickets than the parking places available. As a result, students have to waste time looking and waiting for car park everyday. Some of them have to park in the middle of the road. Is it reasonable for you to pay in order park in the middle of road???On the other hand, the staff's parking is always empty but the students are not allowed to park there.
2. The lift is always out of service.
When the facility is old, it is normal that it will have problem frequently but the problem is the time needed to repair it. Once there was a lift that had been out of service for almost a long sem until someone came to fix it.
3. The aircon
Same with the lift, takes ages to repair, I have experienced more than 1 month without aircon in a venue until the lecturer cant stand it and decided to shift the venue. What is worse is the air con in the exam hall. I remember my 1st mid term in the exam hall is without air con, but luckily i was sitting beside the stand fan. Then here comes my last paper for that sem which the venue is exam hall again, without air con again. That was in a hot afternoon..... can you imagine wat will happen inside an indoor hall with few hundred of living creatures exhaling tonnes of CO2 every minute???The last paper was taken about a month after the first one.
4. Exam Hall again......
If i tell this out to people from other University, they will laugh. There was once during this sem, my housemate had an 8 pm paper, he came back home at 8.15 that day telling us that the paper was postponed due to power failure in the exam hall.
5. Additional fees to be paid after you enter the University.
All of sudden, they told us that we have to pay additional fees after we have studied for some time. One of the good example is the IT fees. They clamied that they imposed the fees is because they need upgrade the internet connection service and for the maintainance purpose.They have not enough money to pay for it. Why dont they just charge the students that use internet in campus??Many of us had never use the internet service before.
OK, i am feeling sleepy now, so i will just continue this topic in my future post(s).
PS:
The worst thing is after charging so much money and giving out so poor service, our University still claimed they have suffered financial lost eor the past few years.
Where did the money went????

Avoidable???

Yesterday after my Accounting class, which was around 12noon i went out with Alex for lunch. On the way to our lunch place, we saw a police car and we thought there was a road block on the road ahead of us. When our car moved forward what we saw gave us a big shock.
A woman was lying on the floor just a meter in front of the police car.
Obviously it was not a road block!!!!
The woman was dead, with her arms broken and part of her scalp was teared off from her head.
As a result, Alex lost his appetite for lunch.
pity gal.
Actually this is not the 1st accident happened on tht road. I have heard or saw more than 20 since i arrived MMU 23 months ago.
but this is the 1st fatal one i think.
The funny thing is there isnt any overhead bridge on the road at all.Everyday,there are hundreds of students risking their life to walk pass the road. Including the victim yesterday.

Actually this accident are avoidable.
why did the government not take action by building a bridge before this happened?
Why should they always act slower than the accidents?
Is it true that we need to spill and blood and sacrifice lifes so that the government will take action?
Some accidents can be Avoided.
